Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt Bites (4 ingredients!)

These peanut butter frozen yogurt bites are the frozen dessert of your dreams! With just 4 ingredients — peanut butter, yogurt, maple syrup, and topped with mini chocolate chips — these frozen yogurt bites are such a fun sweet treat. I love making a batch and keeping them in a bag in my freezer for a yummy frozen yogurt bite at my fingertips anytime .

  • No bake! That’s right, all you need is a loaf pan and your freezer for these amazing frozen yogurt bites.
  • Protein-packed: Thanks to the yummy combination of Greek yogurt (or skyr yogurt!) and peanut butter, these bars pack 6g of protein per bite.
  • Easily customizable: I topped these with mini chocolate chips and flaky sea salt, but honestly they’d be amazing with literally any of your favorite ice cream toppings .

Ingredients You Need

  • Yogurt: I’ve tested this recipe with 5% plain Greek yogurt, as well as skyr yogurt, so either will work. I would just avoid fat-free Greek yogurt, as it has higher water content that gives these bites a more “icy” texture instead of creamy texture when frozen.
  • Peanut butter: Creamy peanut butter works best, unless you like a little crunch in your frozen yogurt bites. If so, go for it!
  • Maple syrup: A natural sweetener that enhances all the other great flavors.
  • Toppings: I went with simple toppings of mini chocolate chips and a few pinches of flaky sea salt, but honestly, any ice cream topping would taste absolutely incredible. Mini m&ms, chopped nuts or a drizzle of peanut butter are a few of my go-tos.

How to Make Frozen Yogurt Bites

  1. Add all the ingredients to a bowl: Mix the yogurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup until it’s smooth and fluffy.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a lined loaf pan: Top with chocolate chips and flaky salt, and any other toppings you’d like.
  3. Freeze: Make sure you let it freeze for at least 3 hours.
  4. Slice and enjoy! Remove from the freezer and slice into yogurt bites.

Top Tips for Success

  • Yogurt: I prefer to use a full-fat skyr or Greek yogurt for this recipe. Why? Lower fat yogurt contains more water, which can produce an “icy” texture when frozen.
  • Nut butters: You can use any nut butter in this recipe! Cashew butter would be absolutely creamy and delicious, and so would almond butter.
  • Don’t forget to line your loaf pan with parchment paper: It will be incredibly hard to get your frozen yogurt out of the pan otherwise. You can use wax paper or aluminum foil if you’re out. That way, you can remove the frozen yogurt easily from the tray after it’s frozen, and slice into bites once it’s out of the pan.

Place your frozen yogurt bites in an airtight container and store it in the freezer for up to 3 months. That way you’ll be able to easily grab a bite from the freezer whenever you’d like a sweet treat .

More Frozen Treats

  • Add yogurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup to a bowl and mix until smooth and fluffy.

  • Transfer the mixture to a lined loaf pan. Top with chocolate chips and flaky salt.

  • Freeze for at least 3 hours.

  • Remove from the freezer and slice into bite-sized pieces.

  • Greek yogurt can be used in place of Skyr yogurt.
  • Option to skip the maple syrup to make it a true 2-ingredient base. Maple syrup adds a bit of sweetness.
